You may have already heard the exciting news: The Elders have launched a new campaign to fight for universal health coverage worldwide.
As part of the campaign, this group of global leaders—founded by Nelson Mandela and now led by visionaries including Kofi Annan, Graça Machel and Gro Harlem Brundtland—created a short stressing how UHC is the key to delivering social justice and leaving no one behind.

Alongside theof UHC last month, The Elders’ commitment signifies a tipping point in the movement for health for all. We’re seeing more and more of the world’s most prominent leaders standing up for the cause.But it’s still up to all of us to make sure that policymakers in every country commit more than words. We need greater investment and tangible action.
With fewer than six months until Universal Health Coverage Day 2016, we look forward to building on this historic momentum with you.
