Lagosians should treat public spaces as their personal property, and manage them properly.

Saying this was the State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode at the 2015 World Habitat Day celebration, with the theme, ”Public Space for all”.

According to him, public spaces, which include markets, gardens, parks, and other open places, was accessible to all citizens, and should be given adequate attention and management.

He enjoined residents to be law abiding and keep public spaces clean, so government objectives for all would be achieved.

The Governor, who spoke through the Chief of Staff, Olukunle Ojo, called on the private sector to partner with government in its mission to enhance the beauty and economy of the State, believing this would give the State an edge over other States in the country.
