Ten Houses Destroyed after a Tanker Accident

Over Ten buildings were gutted down by fire after a fuel tanker crashed with 45, 000 liters of fuel at Ifo in Ogun.

In a statement issued by the Zonal Coordinator, South West, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Ibrahim Farinloye, noted that the fire has been put out and life was lost or injured in the incident.

Ibrahim explained that the situation was mitigated because most of the content spilled into the canal close to the scene.

He further added that the canal saved the community from serious incidents that would have affected more people and claimed lives.
