Sterling One Foundation has participated in the 12th African Regional Forum on Sustainable Development (ARFSD-12) held in Nairobi, Kenya, as part of efforts to advance sustainable development financing and climate resilience across Africa.

The Foundation joined discussions at the summit alongside key continental and global stakeholders, including representatives from the African Union Commission, African Development Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA).
The forum was convened by the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, the African Union, and the African Development Bank to explore strategies for sustainable growth and financing across the continent.
Among prominent participants at the summit were Dr. Jean Bertrand Azapmo of the African Union Commission, Abdoulaye Coulibaly of the African Development Bank, Regis N’Sonde of the IMF, and Claver Gatete, Executive Secretary of UNECA.
According to the Foundation, discussions at the forum focused on unlocking scalable financing solutions to strengthen climate resilience and accelerate sustainable development in Africa.
The engagement also centred on the need for stronger systems, partnerships, and investment frameworks capable of supporting long-term economic and environmental sustainability across African countries.
The Foundation said the summit reinforced the growing urgency for coordinated action to address climate-related challenges while promoting inclusive economic growth on the continent.
Sterling One Foundation added that its participation reflects its continued commitment to supporting initiatives that drive sustainable development, climate action, and strategic partnerships across Africa.
