QEDNG Creative Powerhouse Summit 2.0 to Spotlight Nigeria’s Culture, Innovation, Economic Growth

QEDNG Creative Powerhouse Summit 2.0 has secured support from major public and private sector institutions, including the Lagos State Government, FirstBank, Zenith Bank and Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG), ahead of the second edition of the event.

The summit, organised by Mighty Media Plus Network Limited, publishers of QEDNG, is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja GRA, Lagos.

Other organisations supporting the summit include the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service (LIRS), Fidelity Bank, Polaris Bank and the Africa Soft Power Group.

Themed “Creativity, Culture and Nigeria’s Next Chapter,” the event will bring together stakeholders from the creative industry, government, business and technology sectors to discuss opportunities for growth, job creation and sustainable development.

The organisers said the summit is designed to promote stronger collaboration among policymakers, investors and creative professionals to unlock the potential of Nigeria’s creative economy.

Industry Leaders Set for Dialogue

The second edition of the summit will feature conversations among leaders in the creative, business and technology sectors on the future of Nigeria’s creative industry.

FirstBank, NLNG and Polaris Bank are returning as supporters of the summit after backing the inaugural edition held in 2025.

The organisers also acknowledged the contributions of media and logistics partners, including Abelinis Limited, ID Africa, Integrated Digital Communications Limited (IDCL) and IBST Media, for supporting the delivery of the event.

QEDNG publisher and convener of the summit, Olumide Iyanda, said the support from participating organisations reflects a shared commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s creative sector.

Iyanda added that the summit provides a platform for stakeholders across different sectors to exchange ideas, build partnerships and discuss practical solutions for the growth of the creative economy.

Creative Economy Takes Centre Stage

The organisers had earlier announced Sir Demola Aladekomo, Executive Chairman of SmartCity Resorts Plc, as chairman of the summit, while Ife Adebayo, National Coordinator of the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprises (iDICE) programme at the Bank of Industry, will deliver the keynote address.

Other confirmed speakers include Joke Silva, Steve Babaeko, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori (Kiekie), Efe Omorogbe, Omotayo Inakoju, Yibo Koko, Dr Olamide Okulaja, Anwuli Ojogwu and Fisayo Fosudo.

Veteran broadcaster Gbenga Adeyinka will host the summit, while Steve Ayorinde and Funke Treasure will moderate the panel sessions.

The summit is expected to examine how government, investors and creative professionals can work together to expand opportunities within Nigeria’s creative industry.

With support from key institutions and participation from leading voices in the sector, QEDNG Creative Powerhouse Summit 2.0 aims to deepen conversations around creativity, culture and the next phase of Nigeria’s creative economy.
