A news correspondent with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Benin, Mr. Lawrence Okojie, was professedly shot dead by shooters on Saturday night in Benin.
Okojie was said to have been executed around Ogunola Junction, off Siluko Road.
The representative of the State Police Command, DSP Moses Nkombe, who affirmed the report, said one individual had been captured regarding the occurrence.
Late Okojie, who was dropped off by NTA staff transport at Ogunola Junction around 8: 00 p.m. on Saturday, had called his better half on telephone and educated her that he was en route home.
