Nigerian born British actor, David Oyelowo has been named to play fictional British spy, James Bond, a charter which has been played by top English actors including Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan and, most recently Daniel Crag.
The Nigerian born British actor was named ahead of Idris Elba who had been rumoured to play the character for months now.
Expectant fans will, howver not be seeing the actor’s face as the role is actually for an audior book titled Trigger Moris. David Oyelowo willbe voicing the character in the new audiobook, which was written by Anthony Horowitz.
Reacting to his selection, David Oyelowo is quoted to have said that he feels “very honoured” to be considered for the role. The book is set for release on September 8,2015.
