With just 87 days to the 2023 general election in Nigeria, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced preparations towards the election with the airlifting of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines to states.
The INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, today observed the airlifting of BVAS machines to other states at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos State on Wednesday.
According to the INEC timetable, the 2023 general election commences on February 25, 2023 with Presidential and National Assembly elections while on March 11, 2023 Governorship and State House of Assembly elections will hold.
