The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has appointed Mrs. Temilade Aderemi Okesanjo as Resident Consultant (Strategy and Communications) to strengthen institutional alignment, organisational effectiveness, and public engagement across the Commission.

The appointment, which takes immediate effect, marks the first time strategic advisory responsibilities have been formally integrated into a Resident Consultant role at the ICPC. The Commission said the move is aimed at enhancing its prevention-focused mandate, institutional integrity, and impact-driven governance.

Mrs. Okesanjo brings over 16 years of experience across the public and private sectors. She began her career in the financial sector at Ecobank Nigeria before moving into public service, where she served at the Federal Ministry of Transportation and later the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

In 2018, she exited the civil service to establish Woodford Consulting Company, where she has since led high-level strategy development and implementation advisory engagements.

In her new role, Mrs. Okesanjo will support the Commission in two key areas: strategy and communications. On strategy, she will help ensure that the ICPC’s priorities, engagements, and interventions are deliberate, coherent, and aligned with its statutory mandate. On communications, she will focus on strengthening how the Commission’s activities are clearly and responsibly conveyed to stakeholders and the public.

She has advised at senior levels of governance in Nigeria, including the Presidency, federal ministries, departments and agencies, as well as international organisations, with her work largely centred on policy implementation, institutional reform, and public-sector governance.

The ICPC said the appointment reflects its commitment to integrating strategy into its operations to enhance internal coherence, reinforce preventive efforts, and ensure that institutional actions deliver measurable and sustainable impact.
