Successful applicants that will lead the face of Green business in Nigeria have been selected to participate in the 4th edition of the 2017 Women Green Fellowship.
The Women Green Fellowship is geared towards helping people to re-establish relationship with nature and learn wisdom that is embedded in age-old rural communities.
The participants that are mainly women were selected from Bayelsa, Rivers, Delta, Plateau, Oyo, Abuja, Niger, Lagos and other parts of the country will undergo classes, capacity development trainings, mentoring and in-depth coaching on entrepreneurship, green and social businesses, through the period of six months.
The programme will also allow participants to engage in a monthly one on one mentorship sessions at Nigerian Employers Consultative Association, (NECA), participate in a learning visit and facility tour to social organizations, initiate projects that focus on social entrepreneurship and green economy.
It also brings together social entrepreneurs and change agent from around the country to become green expert, leaders and industry thinkers in the clean technology world.
The Director of the Fellowship, Ayodele Taofiq-Fanida explained that the fellowship will bring together social entrepreneurs and change agent from around the country to become green expert, leaders and industry thinkers in the clean technology world.

Fanida called on impact investors and interested organizations to also support the initiative to create ripple effects that will extend beyond the community of fellows to the rest of the country and the continent to create a sustainable world by 2030.
