World Bank and SVRI announce new grants of up to US $150,000

The World Bank Group and Sexual Violence Research Initiative (SVRI) have jointly announced a new funding opportunity aimed at preventing gender-based violence in low and middle income countries. Grants of up to US $150,000 are available to fund innovations to prevent gender-based violence (GBV)—a severe and neglected problem affecting more than one in three women worldwide and a major challenge for global development.
Girls Impact the World Film Festival: Submit Short Films Focusing on Global Women’s Issues

Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarships 2016/2017 for International Students

The Government of Brunei Darussalam Ministry of foreign affairs and trade is currently inviting applications for its Scholarships 2016/2017 Academic session. The aim of the scholarship awards is to provide applicants with the opportunity to study at University of Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Islam Sultan Sharif Ali University (UNISSA) and Institute of Technology Brunei (ITB). The scholarships cover tuition fees and other appropriate compulsory fees determined by the university for the duration of the programme.
