Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets will, on Tuesday, play its first group match against Korea Republic in a four nation Invitational Suwon International Tournament billed to kick- off next week.
Arrangements have been finalized by Nigeria Football Federation, for the team to depart the country on Sunday for the competition which was earlier fixed for July but postponed due to outbreak of MERS in the region.
The host country is be joined by Brazil, Croatia and Nigeria, as the tournament would be played on a league format to determine the winner.
The tournament, according to the organisers, is a good test for the four teams that would be participating in this year’s edition of FIFA Under seventeen World Cup in Chile.
