Firefighters have been called to Bill and Hillary Clinton’s house in Chappaqua, New York.
New Castle police confirmed to local media that the authorities had responded to a fire at the Clintons’ home. It was believed to be a bedroom fire, which has been extinguished.

The Clintons bought an 11-bedroom house on the estate for $1.7 million on leaving the White House in 1999, and it has been their main residence for 20 years.
Built in 1889, it features five bedrooms over 5,232 square feet and has a swimming pool on its 1.1 acres.
Mr and Mrs Clinton bought the neighbouring house on Old House Lane in autumn 2016 for $1.16 million.
