Centre for Global Solutions and Sustainable Development (CENGSSUD) has now officially announced the launching of the fourth edition of its sustainability Capacity Building program called: CORPORATE SUSTAINABILITY MANAGEMENT 4.0, ABUJA, with the Theme: Embedding and Implementing Sustainability in Corporate Strategy and Operations.
The training program will be held at the Discovery Mall, Box Office Incubator Conference Hall, Plot 215, Ademola Adetokunbo Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja on the 10th & 11th, April, 2018.
Attendees will be thrilled from 9.am -5pm daily.
The primary aim of this first-of-its-kind Sustainability Masterclass training program is to bring conceptual clarity about sustainability in theory and practice to organizations by helping them understand the three pillars of sustainable development in businesses.
The modules/curriculum will cut-across a ‘Plan-Do-Check-Act’ approach to understanding the journey of sustainability, as well as group activities and interactive brainstorming which would instill confidence in the attendees to champion their companies’ sustainability practices.
The planning phase will encompass the Principles and trends of sustainable development, business cases of successful models and creating a sustainable strategy for one’s own business.
The do/implementation phase includes showcasing frameworks to business strategists on how to integrate a resource efficiency approach, reduce the risks related to sustainability and how to frame investments for saving natural capital relevant to organizations’ business goals and stakeholders.
The checking phase includes monitoring and tracking sustainability progress, coordinating with both internal stakeholders, such as employees and external stakeholders such as the community and government.
Finally, the act phase will concentrate on communicating sustainability through reporting based on both international and nationally acclaimed frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), UN Global Compact: Communication on Progress, ISO 26000: Social Responsibility, etc.
Attendees will include representatives from middle/senior management positions in companies, Government, CSOs, NYSC graduates etc.
Participants will learn the language of the business, science of the market and the art of the deal; courses are shaped by some of the top minds in the corporate and sustainability world.
The Masterclass will be delivered by different experienced Faculty/experts who are at the fore-front of sustainability implementation in their various companies/industries and are accomplished in their own fields.
Registration is now opened for the Corporate Sustainability Management 4.0. Upon completion of this 2-day program, participants will receive a frameable certificate from the CENGSSUD Sustainability Centre.
