Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Tuesday announced salary increment for workers in the state public service.
The governor gave the announcement when he met with public servants of the state at the Alausa Secretariat.
In a video obtained by Map News, the governor said that proposed salary increment was necessary in view of the current economic situation in the country which is affecting the general well-being of Lagosians.
“I have instructed at the cabinet meeting, the Head of Service office and the Ministry of Staff Training and Pension to start working on how they are going to increase the entire salary of our workers.
“The pressure on all of you I am aware, the pressure on the entire country I am aware,” the governor said.
