On the 12th of April, the Albanian organization “Useful to Albanian Women” and Heavenly Culture World Peace Restoration of Light (HWPL hereinafter) co-hosted and launched a ceremony for the Peace Advocacy Committee which urges for the Implementation of the International law on the Cessation of War and Achievement of World Peace in Tirana, Albania.
It is reported that on that day, the Executive Director of The Albanian organization “Useful to Albanian Women”, Sevim Arban encouraged participants to join the event in order to support and publicize the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War.
The 10 leaders of the women’s group; including Sevim Arban, the Executive Director of The Albanian organization “Useful to Albanian Women”, Laura Xhaxhiu, the Vice President of Open Doors, Aferdita Prroni, the Executive Director of Human Rights in Democracy Centre (HRDC), and Drita Avdyli, the Chairwomen of National Chamber of Mediation attended the event.
They were appointed as members of the HWPL Advocacy Committee and announced further plans to urge the activities of the International Law so that is might be implemented in Albania. The advocacy activities of this committee are to put an end to war that takes the lives of many people as it breaks out throughout the world, and these activities that calls upon every nation to adopt the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War and to allow it to have binding force as an international law.
The attendees of the launching ceremony on that day had time to discuss how they might help the people of Albanian understand the importance of signing for the advocacy of the Implementation of the International Law and finding ways to practically spread the news.
Sevim Arbana, the chairwoman of The Albanian organization “Useful to Albanian Women” said that very wonderful things are proceeding in Albania, and the attendees are incredible people of various fields in Albania, so they will achieve their goals through their experience, no matter what it takes.
Laura Xhaxhiu of Open Doors showed her appreciation towards HWPL, IWPG, IPYG who have worked hard in Albania for peace. She promised to help them spread the news of their activities online, as Albanian people love peace, and as she, herself is one of the many who love peace. Drita Babameto, the chairwoman of the Centre for Development of Rural Women (CDRW) also showed her strong will to achieve their goal no matter what, to gather many people as one even though the time is short.
The Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War which HWPL proclaimed in March includes; eliminating potential factors that can cause war since the production of weapons is the cause of war, spreading a culture of peace in order to educate the youth thoroughly about peace and those who are forced to go out onto the battlefield and throw their lives away.
The Declaration, unlike the existing international laws on peace and war, is made to be a surveillance and to be urged by the people as to whether it is implemented or not. The global movement has has already began the cessation of war through supporting the signing campaign from all walks of life.
IWPG delivered a message hoping for the regular urging activity to be invigorated and the Declaration of Peace and Cessation of War to be made known to the whole nation through the Peace Committee of Albania.
Meanwhile, Ms. Nam Hee Kim, the chairwoman of IWPG, established IWPG to protect the youth whose lives are thrown away on the battlefield and to put an end to war and to leave the achievement of peace as a legacy to future generations through the heart of a mother. Ms. Kim, together with HWPL Chairman Man Hee Lee, have travelled around the world 24 times since 2012 up until now, and has signed a peace agreement with each head of states and various leader for ‘the Implementation of the International Law on the Cessation of War and Achievement of World Peace’ and ‘Unity of Religion’.
