Sowore, who partly resides in the US, declared his ambition to run for the office of the president just a few weeks back.The well-known activist and publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore has made his stance clear on 2019 election as he bids for the number office in the Nigeria.
As he touched the ground on Tuesday, Sowore noted that he has returned to his home country to spearhead a movement for change towards 2019 General election.
Speaking with hundreds of his supporters and members of the #TakeBackNigeria Movement that rallied to welcome him at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, Sowore made competence known as he prides self as the most transparent candidate in the forthcoming elections.
“It is over for the old people, it is over for the cabal, it is over for the mafias that have been running Nigeria down”.
“I can run Nigeria better than President Buhari, even in my sleep. There is no need to become a local government councillor or a senator when I can run a better country as the president of the federal republic of Nigeria. I am the most transparent candidate”, he mentioned.
To note, some other staunch personalities have also declared to run for same office as the journalist.
Fela Durotoye and Atiku Abubakar are just few of them.
