Youth Led Initiatives on African Youth Charter

The African Union Commission and the Government of the Republic of The Gambia in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders in youth development will stage the Banjul +10 on the African Youth Charter Summit from 23rd to 27th MAY, 2016 to celebrates 10 years of growth and achievement.
As part of the pre- event processes, the African Youth Commission formally the African Union Youth Working Group is contributing to the event by mapping out youth or youth organizations working on youth development, empowerment, policy and programmes in Africa based on the African Youth Charter as a statutory reference.Participating individual or organization will have their profile created on African Youth Commission’s website to be showcased at Banjul +10 Summit in Banjul.

The leadership at its side event in Banjul will find ways of engaging stakeholders to discuss youth or youth organization’s achievements, challenges and way forward on inclusive engagement on implementation strategies of African Youth Charter.
