The national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has emerged as the presidential candidate of the party defeating vice president Yemi Osinbajo after polling 1271.
The country’s former minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi came second with 316 votes while vice president Osinbajo polled 235 votes.
In other results, Senate President Ahmed Lawan polled 152 votes while Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi polled 38 votes.
Former governor of Imo Ewele Rochas Okorocha, Pastor Tunde Bakare, Tien Jack-Rich had zero votes.
