Event Fotographer, a subsidiary of Teo-Inspiro International, a media production company providing event coverage and documentary production services, has launched its online platform and photographers’ hub to foster easy access to photographers in Nigeria.
According to Oghenefego Ofili, Founder, of Teo-Inspiro, the online hub was designed to provide topnotch professional photography coverage for all events; from board meetings, to workshops, conferences, concerts and community outreaches.
She also said that the website, Event Fotographer, aims to democratize photography services by providing equal opportunities for photographers adding that photographers would also be empowered with training opportunities to improve their skills and adapt to change in an ever evolving world.
“In this industry, while a few photographers are overbooked, very many skilled photographers struggle to get steady income; we want to change that. We will be reducing unemployment and underemployment amongst young people in Nigeria.
“We also want to remove the burden of scouting for photographers and ensure users get the best service by the click of a button. It even gets more interesting, Event Fotographer charges for the time spent at the event; so our clients pay per hour. We take off the stress of chasing a photographer for pictures by ensuring client get the pictures maximum 24 hours post-event,” Ofili added.
Expantiating on the benefits of the online platform, Ofili said that while it provides more opportunities for photographers, it also guarantees quality and trusted service at the same time.
OFILI STATED THAT TO BOOK A PHOTOGRAPHER ON THE PLATFORM, “ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS LOG ON TO WWW.EVENTFOTOGRAPHER.COM, COMPLETE A REQUEST FORM AND PAY FOR THE NUMBER OF HOURS YOUR EVENT WILL HOLD. IF YOUR EVENT IS TWO HOURS, YOU ONLY PAY FOR TWO HOURS.
“Immediately payment is confirmed, a photographer is assigned to your event. The photographer will arrive at your event and provide coverage after which they will submit softcopies of your pictures at most 24 hours post event. After you receive the pictures, you then approve photographer’s payment.”
She added that: “In an instance when the hours paid for is elapsing and your event is still on, you can request for extra hours on the website.
“At the moment, bookings are only done via the website, but we are currently recruiting service agents who can provide the request form physically for those who might not be online and need this service. This is also an opportunity for already existing small business owners to earn extra income as Agents for Event Fotographer.”
This service will be available nationwide, but it would kick-off in Lagos after the lockdown at www.eventfotographer.com
Teo-Inspiro, the initiators of Event Fotographer have provided photography coverage for all events to mark FirstBank’s 125th Anniversary Celebration all through 2019.
