The trailer to the South African adaptation of Chris Houghton book Unthinkable is finally out.
The film, which was shot on ARRI Alexa and BlackMagic Cinema camera, highlights critical issues regarding human trafficking in Africa. It narrates the how and
procedures of the organized crime in details.
National Freedom Network collaborates with Media Navigation to produce the film.
According to Dan Akinlolu, the director/producer of Unthinkable and the CEO of Media Navigation, “it is fundamentally important to highlight that the film production is about insight into human trafficking in South-Africa and globally.
The intention is to create a content that enlightens our community about how serious human trafficking is. It is more of educational materials designed to inform and enlighten every citizensabout how these criminals disguise their intentions to execute their evil deeds. They are such a complex organization. We decided to make it docu-drama format. We have so many individuals and corporate organization like Lexis Nexis, Media Film Services and Rotary Club to express our gratitude to for their support towards the film production.
Marina Reyneke, the National Freedom Network administrator also disclose that human trafficking is a critical issue and it is important to create awareness about how
such thing can happen right under our nose. We want everyone to participate in the awareness especially through the movie premiere. And we also would like to seek
further support and partnership with NGOs, parastatals or organizations to showcase the film and for distribution.
The film which was an adaptation of Khris Hollington’s book of the same title UNTHINKABLE will be premiered in October 2016 during the human trafficking awareness week.
