The Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation (CREDICORP), in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, has launched the C.L.I.C.K.D. Programme (Credit for Laptops, Internet, Connectivity and Knowledge Digital Devices) to improve access to digital tools for Nigerians.

The programme was officially launched on July 21, 2026, at the Afreximbank African Trade Centre (AATC) in Abuja as part of efforts to equip Nigerians with the digital devices needed to learn, work and earn in the digital economy.

Target Beneficiaries and Key Partners

The inaugural phase of the initiative targets fellows undergoing training on the Learn2Earn platform, many of whom are acquiring in-demand digital skills but lack access to laptops required to complete their training and pursue employment or entrepreneurship opportunities. Through a partnership with Fidelity Bank Plc, NASENI Hub and Imose Mobile, the programme will provide 1,000 locally assembled laptops to eligible fellows across the country.

Initial Rollout and Strategic Objectives

At the launch event, 77 beneficiaries in Abuja received laptops as the first batch of a nationwide rollout aimed at expanding digital access and supporting skills development. According to the organisers, the initiative also seeks to promote the adoption of locally assembled digital devices, demonstrating how consumer credit can advance digital inclusion, strengthen local manufacturing and accelerate the growth of Nigeria’s technology ecosystem.

How to Apply

Interested Nigerians can register for the programme through the CREDICORP C.L.I.C.K.D. portal.
