It was pay back time for customers of Bosak Microfinance Bank Limited, as its second Beta Life Saving Promo was held at Primrose Events Place, recently.
Many customers turned up for the event which was meant to engender a saving culture amongst the economically active poor.
In his remarks at the event, the Managing Director of the microfinance bank, Mr. Kola Bello, encouraged the customers to embrace savings culture to ensure a fall back plan during the rainy days.
He reiterated that what differentiates his bank from thrift collectors is that individual customers can access his or her account details without problems.
Furthermore, he encouraged the customers to take advantage of the Bank’s Insurance Product which gives access to medical care while premium is repaid weekly in such amount that will be easy for them.
To further raised the bar of their integrity. Mr. Oyewumi Adelakun, the head of Internal Control, told the customers to ensure that loan officers attached to them document all transactions in their respective passbook.
In the raffle, three categories of winners emerged, those who maintained a minimum deposit of N30,000, N20,000 and N10,000 respectively were chosen.
Funke Ekunsanmi won the star prize of a brand new generator. The second prize of table refrigerator went to Oluwaseun Ismail Adesanya and the third prize, a rechargeable fan, was won by Oseni Nurudeen.
Before the raffle draw, recharge cards were called out for four fastest fingers to win.
