Ahead International Women’s Day 2017, IWPG, (International Women’s Peace Group) an international NGO working for women and peace, has been engaging various women empowerment and peace activities since its establishment and in 2017 will work to spread the message around the globe that FGM is a serious violation of women’s dignity and should be banned. This is not just an issue for those victimized women, but everybody’s problem. We sincerely ask your active support and cooperation in ending such harmful practice in this world.
The main theme of IWPG on the 2017 International Women’s Day Event is Ban FGM (Female Genital Mutilation).
