Action Health Incorporated encourages children to acquire vocational skills

Communities in Lagos State have been urged to take advantage being offered by the Action Health Incorporated to train their Children in Vocational Skill to be useful in the Society.

Its Director, Doctor Uwem Esiet who was speaking on a programme on our station earlier today, said the training was free of charge.

Esiet said the Non-Governmental Organisation had trained a reasonable number of Nigerians, especially those in the slum areas, to acquire Vocational Skills since its inception in Nineteen-Ninety-Three.

According to him, the Organisation had sent One Hundred Indigent Children to learn Vocational Skills at the National Opportunity Industrialisation Centre in Gbagada.

The Director said that the Organisation was partnering with the State Government to ensure that the programme served Communities.
