Ekiti Election: Tinubu, Bisi Akande, Other Stakeholders Promise Free, Fair With Ekiti APC Aspirants

South west leaders of the ruling All Progressive’s Congress, APC have met with the governorship aspirants of the party ahead of the 2018  election, assuring them of credible primaries.

In attendance today at the meeting that coveyed South West Leaders among other twenty-six gubernatorial candidates include: Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chief Bisi Akande, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, Chief Pius Akinyelure, Chief Jide Awe ( Ekiti APC Chair ), Paul Omotoso ( Ekiti State APC Secretary).

A total of thirty candidates including Senator Ojudu are contesting the APC ticket for the  election to hold later this year.

The party chieftains pledged to ensure free , fair, transparent and credible primaries and also be on ground during the course of the voting to ensure the process is well managed.

According to them, this will assist the national body of APC to deliver a rancor-free process.

After ensuring a transparent primary election, the party agreed to unit the winner, who will be representing the party in Ekiti governorship election, with other aspirants to ensure there is no strife or conflict after the election to ensure an eventual victory for the party.

Such winner will bear the responsibility of running an all inclusive government, if elected by the Ekiti people.

The party leaders however beseeched all aspirants to make their campaign issue based and refrain from tarnishing the image of one another.
