Nigerian Government Begins Construction Of New Refinery
As the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari will be winding off in less than one year, the government has now commenced construction of a new refinery in Delta state.
In line with the Niger Delta vision of the Federal Government, the establishment of private modular refineries is on course with the OPAC Modular Refinery at Kwale, Delta State.
The 7,000-bpsd OPAC Modular Refinery is scheduled to commence operations by Q4 2018, according to the Presidency.
The Nigerian Government’s new vision for the Niger Delta is to ensure that the people of the region benefit from and enjoy the wealth of their land.
