No less than thirty ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos between today and September three.
The Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA stated this, in its daily publication ‘Shipping Position’ in Lagos.
The document stated that the expected ships would sail in with diesel, bulk rice, frozen fish, general cargo, repaired vessel, bulk sugar and base oil.
Other expected ships according to the publication, would arrive with container, bulk gypsum buckwheat, bulk fertiliser, ethanol and bulk malt barley.
NPA also said eight out of the fourteen other ships waiting to berth would berth with petrol, while, six others would berth with kerosene, general cargo, bulk rice and frozen fish.
