Microsoft Nigeria, Kimpact partner to train NGOs on use of technology

Microsoft Nigeria has partnered with Kimpact Development Initiative (KDI), social enterprise and capacity building initiative, to train registered Non – governmental organisations, NGOs in the country, on the use of technology.

The workshop tagged ‘Technology for the Modern NGO’, will commence on the 11th September 2017 till the 13th of September 2017.

The 1-day immersion workshop will take place at three different venues in three states, Oyo, Osun and Ondo State.

Bukola Idowu, Head, Kimpact Development Initiative said: “participants of this workshop will be put through sessions of MyNGO, one of Microsoft Nigeria’s modern technologies to provide answers to challenges NGOs face regarding information protection and safety”.

“They will be learning how they can save data/information without fear of losing it to fire, mishandling or misplacement. The training will also involve various analysis with practical experience that would benefit NGO activities and projects.

“Registered NGOs in these three states have been called to register the name of their organization, phone number and city with Kimpact Development Initiative”.
