Lagos State University (LASU) says it will not matriculate its newly admitted one hundred-level 2014/2015 Law students until the law programme has been accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC).
The Dean, Students Affairs, Professor Kabir Akinyemi, told journalists in Lagos that LASU actually did not advertise for vacancy in its Faculty of Law and other departments yet-to-be accredited, but the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) did.
The don said that it was until the faculty, among others had been accredited, before the fate of the students could be decided.
