HEADS and Chief Executives of government-owned agencies and parastatals are not affected by the dissolution of Boards of Parastatals and Agencies as directed by the State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on Monday.
The Lagos state government made the clarification on Wednesday saying it became necessary because of different and wrong interpretations given to the media announcement of the dissolution.
It was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tunji Bello.
Also exempted from the dissolution directive according to the government is the State House of Assembly Commission.
On Monday, the governor had announced the approved dissolution of all Boards of Parastatals and Agencies of Government in the State with the exemption of the State Civil Service Commission, Judicial Service Commission and the State Independent Electoral Commission.
