Gani Adams Foundation donates to the poor

The President Odua People Congress, Chief Gani Adams has urged the government of Nigeria to build and improve on infrastructure so as to make life and living easier for the people of the country.

He disclosed this statement recently during the World Humanitarian Day which was established by the United Nation’s General Assembly.

Adams who donated money for the programme said that, the donation is a little way of identifying and helping the poor, hence making life meaningful to them.

He stressed that the foundation has also inculcated skill acquisition programmes for youths and other economically vulnerable members of the society.

“In fact, before the end of this month, we hope to give vocational training to more than 40 young people through our Academy for Innovative Arts and Technology.” Gani Adams said.

Meanwhile, he said despite the efforts by the government and institution to curb poverty in Africa, but the situation keep on exacerbating.

“The challenges of the 21ST century demands that global issues requires global solution. In recent times, the world is plagued with myriads of problems.

Statististics have shown that in the world today, the total number of people affected by natural disaster has risen over the past decade and about 211 million people are directly affected. ” He said.
