The executive director of the United Nations Information Center (UNIC) in Nigeria, Mr Ronald Kayanja, has said the accomplishment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is subject to the battle against corruption around the globe.

Mr Kayanja urged Nigerians to recognize the International Anti-Corruption Day, on Thursday, December 9 2016, saying “Any mishap to the accomplishment of the SDGs by 2030 predicts an incredible threat to the planet earth and the general population of the world.”
He also added that “No nation is invulnerable, and each nation bears an obligation to end it.

The Project Officer of UNODC Lagos office, Mr William Wu Shiyin, revealed that the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Country Office is supporting the Nigerian Government to battle corruption and all wrongdoings.
