A Federal high court sitting in Lagos has ordered the arrest of Innocent Chukwuma, chairman of Innoson Motors Limited.
Presiding judge, Mojisola Dada, on Friday issued a warrant for Chukwuma’s arrest over his failure to appear before the court.
The Innoson Motors Chairman, who was earlier arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is standing trial for allegedly violating the condition of the deal he had with the Guarantee Trust Bank, GTB.
An allegation ha has repeatedly denied.
Both parties have been having a running battle over the transaction which dates back to 2009, as the auto-dealer has also dragged the bank to court demanding N400 billion in damages.
Justice Dada has however adjoured the case till March 1.
