CDWAA Information Session Empowers Broadcast Trainees with Industry Insights

The Career Development with Augustina Armstrong (CDWAA) recently organized her fourth Virtual informative session aimed at equipping aspiring journalists with valuable knowledge and skills they needed to hone their journalism career.

This followed three successful webinars that have already shaped and motivated the participants, further solidifying CDWAA’s commitment to bringing up passionate Journalists.

The Webinar featured distinguished speakers, including Ugochi Oluigbo, a Multimedia Journalist, Bukola Ajiboye, a Diction Expert and Mayowa Adeniran, a media engagement specialist and Managing Editor of MAP MEDIA News.

Each speaker shared valuable insights, equipping participants with knowledge and motivation to excel in any beats of journalism they want to pursue.

Mr. Mayawa challenged the aspiring journalist to write a well detailed story on family planning, he urged the trainee to take their assignment very serious as it might be the start of their Career.

Speaking with one of the rookie journalists, Oladoyinbo Comfort Olanike, a student at the National Broadcast Academy, She expressed excitement about the insightful session. “I was truly moved by the word of motivation by the three speakers, I will improve my communication skills and boost my confidence in the media space”, she said.
